L&C House 透過流暢的動線、分明的公私領域界定，使家族成員在共處中保持適度距離，在獨處時亦能享有自在天地。身為新婚夫妻的業主，既承襲東方文化的底蘊，又歷經西方教育的洗禮，對於家的想像，回歸至功能與品味並存的實踐。隨著家庭成員的增長，這棟宅邸不僅是安身之所，更承載著未來時光的動態延展。

公領域打開了家庭生活的核心。開放式餐廚的設計，中島與餐桌相互層疊，透過井然有序的串聯邏輯，形塑出流動而富層次的場景。四道扇形門排列在餐廳與客廳之間，既能隔絕廚房油煙，又能避免冷熱空氣流動失衡。玻璃材質展現視覺通透性，光線能自由穿梭，展現出大空間的開闊尺度。而手工皮革鑲嵌的門把，低調而不失質感，彰顯工藝美學點綴日常細節。

Located in the southern district of Taichung, L&C House is a private elevator villa spanning five above-ground floors and one basement level. The overall design seamlessly integrates the crisp minimalism of Western aesthetics with the profound cultural depth of Eastern traditions, forming a harmonious fusion of both worlds. This residence thoughtfully explores Taiwan’s traditional ideal of three generations living under one roof, striking a balance between shared spaces and personal privacy. With clearly defined public and private zones and fluid circulation, the open-plan layout presents an exquisite portrait of contemporary living.

The newlywed homeowners, shaped by Western education yet deeply immersed in Eastern culture, approached the design of their home with practicality as the primary consideration. As they prepare to welcome new family members, their vision is to create a residence that is not only highly functional but also rich in character and sophistication.

Entering through the garage, the space seamlessly connects to the indoor elevator hall, leading to the foyer, where subtle lighting guides one’s footsteps inward. A carefully orchestrated transition from dim to bright creates a layered spatial experience, gradually revealing the home’s interior composition. The expansive foyer is thoughtfully designed, featuring a fully-equipped cloakroom and shoe storage area, while a well-appointed utility room is discreetly tucked away in the back.

Material selection in L&C House is a deliberate and philosophical dialogue. The sleek coolness of stainless steel contrasts with the earthy warmth of limestone, creating a harmonious tension between modern precision and natural elegance.
