一家三口入住中古宅，設計師以現代簡約為基調，將空間規劃為四房兩廳，不追求過度裝飾，而是透過材質本質與光影設計，融入日式爾雅的溫度，形塑出悠然自在的生活節奏。

玄關鋪設灰階水磨石地坪，搭配溫潤木皮包覆天花與立面，一側佐以石紋大阪，勾勒質樸自然的迎賓氛圍。設計師巧妙安置穿透式端景櫃，成為情感連結的載體，也兼具收納與美感。

客廳與閱讀區以線性燈光框構電視牆與書櫃，烘托細膩質地與靜謐氛圍；私領域則將床頭燈光與更衣室燈帶呼應，以點線交錯勾勒低調美學，燈光設計更成為室內的端景焦點。

開放式廚房整合L型廚具與家電機能，吧檯內側可供烹飪，外側可擺放高腳椅，靈活切換不同使用情境。順暢動線串聯餐廳，使空間更開闊延伸；展示牆結合黑板漆與滑板，展現主人活潑個性與藝術品味。

臨窗區與廚房外側皆設置長虹玻璃拉門，不僅創造高彈性機能，更讓自然光徜徉全室，形塑通透明亮的生活場景。

A family of three moves into a thoughtfully renovated second-hand home, where designer Huang Chong-Wei of Shin Cheng Design reimagines the space with a minimalist yet warm aesthetic. The four-bedroom, two-living room layout emphasizes material authenticity and lighting, subtly infused with a touch of serene Japanese elegance to echo the family’s desire for slow living.

At the entrance, gray terrazzo flooring pairs with wood veneer ceilings and walls, accompanied by stone-textured panels that offer a grounded, natural welcome. A transparent feature cabinet at the foyer functions as both storage and a symbolic connector of family emotion.

In the shared living area, linear lighting outlines the TV wall and bookshelf, enhancing both function and atmosphere. In the private zones, coordinated lighting between bedside and closet spaces creates a quiet rhythm, adding depth to the understated aesthetic.

The open kitchen integrates L-shaped cabinetry and appliances, while the extended bar serves dual purposes—cooking inside, casual dining outside with bar stools. The space flows naturally into the dining area, visually expanding the home’s scale. A feature wall with chalkboard paint and a skateboard reflects the homeowner’s artistic and lively personality.

Fluted glass sliding doors near the windows and kitchen create flexible boundaries while guiding ample natural light deep into the interior, brightening every corner of the home.
